Carol Boynton has been painting and drawing from a young age. She studied at the Art Students’ League of New York and the Silvermine College of Art.

She is a classically trained oil portraitist and has been under the tutelage of some of the world’s leading portrait artists including Nelson Shanks, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and Daniel Greene.

In addition to portraits by commission, Carol also paints landscapes, seascapes, and still lifes in oil. Her work is representational and may be found in private collections in New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, France, and Japan, as well as around New England.

She also has prints of her work available for purchase.

Carol Boynton lives on the shoreline in Madison, Ct with her husband Ted.
